This has been a long time coming and now Washington sees the change taking place as soon as 2014. Unfortunately my Walther P99 is not in the running for the M9's replacement. Smith & Wesson and Beretta seam well placed to get the contract. I am a pretty excited about the Beretta offering myself. A swap from the Beretta 92F to the Beretta PX4 Storm in a.45 would be quite an upgrade.
