Changing the Background Image on the Kenwood DNX9960- Custom background images make a significant contribution to the aesthetics of the user interface of the DNX9960. I used several good landscapes a have shot over the years. I edited them in Adobe Photoshop by adding a photo filter to give them shading that would match the color of my 2011 Toyota Tacoma’s instrument panel. I experimented with various image file types and sizes in order to find one that presented with high definition on the DNX9960. JPEG images of any sixe came out very pixilated. Larger images caused significant degradation of the performance of the DNX9960. I eventually determined that a PNG-8 image with a file size of about 200 KB came out crystal clear.
